The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Amigurumi (2010) by June Gilbank inspired me to design and knit out a few of my own. Although ami’s are usually crocheted, I went a knit route for a smoother texture.
The smaller the ami, the more it should be crocheted for the cute bumpy texture. This baby narwhal is crocheted:
